Mekinist Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat skin cancer called as malignant melanoma.

Mekinist Tablet is taken in a dose as recommended by the doctor. You should continue to take it as long as the doctor advises for it. The duration of treatment varies according to your need and response to treatment. You should get regular eye examinations while taking this medicine. In case you get eye irritation, blurred vision, eye pain or other vision changes during your treatment than it is better to consult with doctor.

It may cause serious bleeding, especially in your stomach or brain. Thus, inform doctor if you get headaches, stomach pain or if you notice blood in your urine or stools. It may cause rash, diarrhea, swelling of legs and hands, or facial swelling as its side effects.
