Zylet Eye Drop is a combination medicine used in the treatment of eye infections with inflammation. It kills and stops the growth of bacteria that causes the infection. This way it helps in relieving redness, itching, and swelling caused by the bacteria.
Zylet Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before and after using the medicine. Zylet Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Loteprednol etabonate and Tobramycin. Loteprednol etabonate is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
